Setting up a scene that does not run away from you
Say the limits first, in one line, before anything starts. Then drop initiative below the middle if you want to set the pace yourself, or push it up if you would rather be led. Nerve decides how much she pushes against hesitation, and it is the fader worth moving in small steps.
Mid-scene, one sentence is enough to change any of it — slower, rougher, back off, stay here. The instruction is obeyed rather than performed, and if you say stop the scene ends there with no negotiation.
